Encadria Staffing Solutions, a Georgia-Pacific company, is seeking Millwright Mechanic for temporary -to-hire assignment at the Georgia Pacific facility in Palatka, Florida.

Starting Pay Rate: $37.78

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and uptime
• Performing periodic maintenance routines (PM’s) to identify and correct mechanical defects before they fail
• Maintaining operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels
• Working with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs

What You Will Need:

High school diploma or GED

• 3-5 years’ experience working in Maintenance/Mechanical position
• Must be able to work in hot/cold conditions
• Must be able to work long hours
• Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
• Must be willing to work night shift
• Must be able to trouble shoot mechanical issues
• Must be able to read a measuring tape and do simple math

Preferred:

• Cutting and Welding experience
• Hydraulic system trouble shooting

Experience:

 

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)

 

Willingness to travel:

 

• 25% (Preferred)

 

Work Location: In person
