Encadria Staffing Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator/Watcher for a local manufacturer in the Kingstree, SC area.  This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.  Must be open to 2nd or 3rd shifts.  
The primary responsibility of workers in the production department is the safe operation, maintenance, and house-keeping of embroidery machines. 


Production workers in this department have the responsibility to maintain continued, uninterrupted operation of the embroidery machines.  Keeping the embroidery machine running continually, includes responsibilities such as, setting up and putting spans of fabric onto the embroidery machine, removing and separating embroidered spans of fabric after embroidery, maintaining adequate front embroidery yarn spools on the machine creels supplying the embroidery machine, filling, adjusting tension and loading bobbins into shuttles and loading shuttles into the back of the embroidery machine and assorted other operational requirements.


Operating and maintaining the machines requires the workers to be up and down regularly, responding to the bells and signals from the embroidery equipment, also walking the machine regularly viewing the work quality and consistency of their production.


Ultimately, maximum machine efficiency is the goal of this department while maintaining minimal to no damages and no unnecessary working loss. 

Basic requirements as follows:

  • Applicants should be self starters and willing to work.
  • Must show up to work on time, every day, sober.
  • Must be willing to work a minimum of 40 hours a week.
  • Must have good manual dexterity and be able to handle needle and thread.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb ladders most of the day.
  • Must have good eyes or corrective lenses to be able to thread needles.
  • Must be able to properly lift 40 - 50 pound rolls of fabric to a height of four feet.
  • Must not have an aversion to getting sweaty, dirty or oily sometimes.
  • Must be able to read a ruler or able to learn to read a ruler.
  • You will be working around threads and fast moving machines so applicants must be willing to remove body piercings that could be a safety hazard.
  • Applicants must wear proper fitting clothing (no cleavage, no revealed midriff, no slack pants, etc.) and must wear flat sole shoes (like sneakers) or light soft soled boots. 
  • Must be able to work with other people as a team.
