Temporary Storeroom Associate – Lovell, WY
Our Georgia-Pacific Gypsum facility in Lovell, WY is recruiting for a Temporary Storeroom Associate. Reporting to the Purchasing and Stores Manager, this role will handle many aspects of MRO inventory to ensure it supports operations and reliability at the lowest total cost of ownership to GP. A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Understand and follow all applicable Internal Financial Controls and Purchasing and Storeroom policies
- Responsible for housekeeping and maintaining optimal inventory levels for overall Spare Parts supply operations, including receiving (systematic & physical), putting parts away, relieving inventory from inventory system upon use, and managing MRO parts, and supplies
- Working with maintenance and operations to understand inventory needs and ensure reliability is properly supported at the best total cost of ownership for GP
- Conducting periodic review and analysis of the inventory including (but not limited to) cycle counting, on demand reviews, overmax evaluation, slow moving inventory reviews, and repair & return transactions.
- Ensuring the storeroom is organized through shelf/bin and parts identification with corresponding database accuracy
- Generating material releases and follow-up as needed
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of one (1) year of inventory management experience
- Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Willing and able to adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
- Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs. routinely, and willing and able to lift up to 70 lbs. routinely with assistance of another individual
- Willing and able perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours/day, including but not limited to lifting, walking, pushing, pulling, climbing, and/or stooping
- Ability to drive a forklift
Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years of inventory management experience or at least three (3) years manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) parts
- Experience with inventory management software (MP2 preferred)
- Associates degree or higher
