Georgia-Pacific in Allentown, PA, is seeking a safety-oriented individual for the position of 3rd Shift Porter.
Shift Hours: 10pm-6am Saturday-Wednesday
Weekly Pay!
What You Will Do In Your Role:
  • Safely operating an electric pallet jack
  • Working collaboratively with other team members
  • Ensuring a safer working environment throughout the facility by removing debris from areas within the warehouse
  • Housekeeping duties (sweeping, mopping, emptying trash)
  • Performing work that requires lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Promoting safe work practices and maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
  • Performing task such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and or pulling for up to 8 hours a day
  • Willing and able to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) (i.e. hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs
Requirements:
  • Work experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, construction, military, or warehouse environment.
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
  • Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment.
  • Willing and able to work rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
