Encadria Staffing Solutions is currently hiring for Buyers to work remote for Georgia-Pacific

Job Responsibilities:

· Manage a live share Excel file for parts that needed to be quoted with up to 5 suppliers

· Follow up on open items that have not been addressed by suppliers

· Serve as a bridge between our parts requisitioners, central purchasing team and suppliers for discrepancies

· Provide input on process improvements

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of relevant experience
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word (document creation), Excel (spreadsheets),Outlook (email and calendar), PowerPoint (presentations), and Teams (communications platform).
• Experience in purchasing or similar field (e.g. store room, inside sales, accounting, supply chain analyst)
• Good written and oral communication skills to be the liaison between the teams.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Passport, SAP, Ariba system knowledge
• Knowledge of purchasing process and procedures and key commercial terms such as freight payables, incoterms and delivery terms
• Experience working in a manufacturing or maintenance environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools including Access (database applications) and Excel Pivot Tables and data analysis
