Electrical Instrumentation Technician
Encadria Staffing Solutions is currently looking to hire an experience Electrical Instrument Technician at our Georgia-Pacific facility in Camden, NJ. Georgia-Pacific Gypsum LLC is seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable and experienced candidate with excellent Reliability Maintenance skills who can add value to our team for a temporary Electrician/Instrument Tech position at our Camden, NJ plant location. The Electrician/Instrument Tech will be required to diagnose, repair, calibrate, program PLCs and install plant electrical, electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for all Plant manufacturing and support equipment.
It is the function of the Electrician/Instrument Tech to safely and efficiently troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and install equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures. This job requires the ability to repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and electrical equipment, such as motors, pneumatic components, switchgear, flow meters and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments. The candidate will perform other duties as required.
This is a highly skilled hourly position requiring a thorough understanding of safe work practices, troubleshooting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and processes.
Electrician/Instrument Techs will be expected to possess and refine multiple skills in both Electrical and Instrumentation crafts. Most employees will work 8-hour day shift with overtime as required. Must be available for call-in emergencies as needed.
- Journeyman-level Industrial Electrician/Instrument Tech
- Four years’ industrial experience or two years’ industrial work experience plus industrial trade education
- Must have good understanding of NEC and WAC code
- Strong troubleshooting skills and PLC programing experience
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
