The Loaned Executive program through Brown County United Way is a fast paced 12 week training ground for professional development. Public speaking, increased confidence, time/account management and leadership skills are assets your employee will return with to your company.
This a temporary position that will start in September 2019 and run through November, 2019.
What is a Loaned Executive?
The LE functions as a member of the Brown County United Way (BCUW) team and reports directly to the Campaign Manager. Each LE is assigned a portfolio of accounts that will utilize his/her talents, skills and expertise to enhance solicitation efforts, reach new markets and broaden the base of community support while working with companies to successfully complete their annual fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, be highly organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter.
September 3 – November 27 The LE Program begins with several days of training.
A typical work day is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. However, flexibility is required due to the nature of our business. Schedules may be changed as needed to include some early mornings, evenings and weekends.
-Working with CEOs, Employee Campaign Coordinators, volunteers and staff:
-Help each company plan and implement their campaign in conjunction with staff by attending campaign meetings and events, as scheduled;
-Provide detail documentation of account activities (i.e. personnel changes, employee coordinator name, labor union information, economic impact, etc.);
-Develop professional relationships with Employee Campaign Coordinators; prepare and motivate coordinators regarding campaign techniques that will enhance overall employee contributions;
-Monitor and review campaign development on a regular basis to track progress, identify problem areas and concerns;
-Oversee scheduling and conducting of employee group meetings for assigned accounts; ensure availability of necessary resources (campaign materials, videos, speakers, etc.);
-Assist and speak at group employee meetings, various training events and kick-off functions;
-Assist other Loaned Executives and staff, as needed (i.e. additional meetings, scheduling conflicts, etc.);
-Assist BCUW staff in writing thank you letters to donors and Employee Campaign Coordinators;
-Must have own transportation for fieldwork (all mileage will be reimbursed);
-Other duties as assigned.
