Job Description
Encadria Staffing Solutions, a Georgia-Pacific company is now hiring for Fire Watch at Georgia-Pacific's lumber facility in Madison, GA. In this role you will ensure safe practices and adhere to fire regulations of the facility. The Experience You Will Bring (Requirements):
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, production, warehouse, farming, or military environment
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in a Fire Watch or similar role.
What You Will Do In Your Role (Responsibilities include but are not limited to):
- Ensure safe work practices and adhere to fire regulations of the facility.
- Inspect and maintain site fire/sprinkler systems and firefighting equipment.
- Perform safety audits and follows up on corrective actions.
- Provide support to management and employees.
- Actively participate in the Safety program to improve processes as well as adhere to safety rules and regulations including the wearing of proper PPE.
- Department Clean up as needed.
Other Considerations
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.

- Participate in clean-up duties to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Flexibility to flow to the work as needed (Utility, Firewatch, Clean-up, etc.).
- Work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment.
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling.
