Encadria Staffing Solutions is currently hiring for Firewatch to work at Georgia-Pacific’s facility in Madison, GA. The Madison facility is part of Georgia-Pacific’s Building Products division and manufactures engineered wood materials used in residential and commercial construction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor areas where welding, cutting, or other hot work is performed.
- Stay alert and enforce safety protocols at all times
- Watch for sparks, embers, or signs of fire near wood products.
- Sound alarms and respond appropriately to fire risks
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ideal Candidate will have previous experience in Manufacturing, General Labor or Warehouse
- Willing and able to work in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy and high volume environment
- Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for at least 12 hours a day
- Steel toe boots are required for this assignment.
Job Type: Possible Temp to Hire based on attendance and safety performance
Work Schedule:
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shift with 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Rotation: 2/3 rotating shift schedule
- Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days / off 2, work 2, off 3 (repeats every 2 weeks)
- Every other Friday–Sunday is a full weekend off
