Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team at a large MRO warehouse in a manufacturing facility. This temporary position will last for at least 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of a inventory disposition project, as well as preparing items for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify inventory on hand to ensure location and accuracy.
Pick and stage inventory for disposition.
Prepare items for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented.
Assess inventory for reliability and condition.
Operate forklift for handling larger items (fork truck certification is a plus).
Maintain organized and efficient work areas within the warehouse.
Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
Fork truck certification is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Ability to lift and move items of various sizes, from small handheld items to larger items requiring forklift operation.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
