Inventory Control Clerk
Job Description
Encadria Staffing Solutions, a Georgia-Pacific company is now hiring a Inventory Control Clerk at our Georgia-Pacific facility in Darlington, SC. This position will be responsible for assisting the management with the parts and tool inventory. Reporting to the Plant Stores and Purchasing Manager, the Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for managing aspects of the Parts Storeroom and working in the warehouse. A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
- Perform stockroom assistant duties in a warehouse setting
- Receive inventory into SAP as required
- Ensure accuracy in physical verification of stock
- Pick/put away by warehouse order
- Working with leadership to ensure the storeroom and material within the storeroom are treated like an asset
- Take stock of incoming materials and supplies as per invoices
- Assisting the overall supply operations, including receiving and inventory of maintenance materials, supplies, and reviewing the required min/max quantities
- Ensuring the storeroom is organized through shelf/bin and parts identification with accuracy
- Troubleshoot work order pick fails and notify following shifts of any discrepancies
- Identify stock locations utilizing EWM and Material Search
- Print material labels
- Move products to/from drop zones as needed - using Forklift as needed
- Shipment/trailer unloading
- Training others on store process and safety requirements
- Follow, review, and enforce all applicable purchasing and stores policies
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures
Job Requirements
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in supply chain, operations, or maintenance
- At least 1 year of experience in inventory management
- LIFT TRUCK EXPERIENCE/LICENSE required
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and knowledge of other MS Office Suite products
Physical Requirements:
- Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willing and able to work in seasonal conditions
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years or more of experience in inventory management
- Associate degree or higher
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) parts
- Experience with inventory management software (SAP preferred)
