Overview

Georgia Pacific is looking for a talented and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our team on a short-term contract basis. In this role, you will create visually engaging designs for digital and print media, supporting key marketing and branding initiatives.

Reporting to the Creative Manager, you’ll work on a variety of projects, collaborate with experienced designers and cross-functional teams, and contribute to the execution of creative strategies that align with business objectives. This is a great opportunity to further develop your design skills and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute design concepts, graphics, videos, and layouts for web, social media, and print materials. • Collaborate with the Creative Manager and senior designers to bring creative ideas to life. • Develop marketing materials including presentations, brochures, banners, social media graphics, and digital ads. • Produce design assets for ongoing marketing and branding initiatives. • Edit, organize, and retouch photos and graphics as needed. • Manage digital assets within MediaValet (digital asset management system). • Contribute to brainstorming and ideation sessions for upcoming campaigns. • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across platforms. • Contribute creative ideas and design insights in team meetings to support campaign strategy and execution. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing campaigns align with overall business objectives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 0–2 years of professional design experience. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects is preferred. • Strong visual and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Basic knowledge of web design and social media content creation is a plus.

• Experience with video editing tools is preferred. • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. • Confidence to problem-solve and make design decisions independently.
