Encadria Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to provide schedule support for Small through Mid-sized Capital projects for Invista. The position can be located at either our Houston Engineering Office (16945 Northchase Dr Ste 1000, Houston, Tx 77060) or Victoria Texas facility (2695 Old Bloomington Rd N, Victoria, TX 77905). Occasional travel to our Gulf Coast manufacturing sites will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with project teams to develop logically linked and detailed project schedules for all phases of small, and mid-cap projects at our INVISTA manufacturing facilities.
  • Facilitate/Participate in Interactive Planning Sessions (IPS) with project teams to identify logic and potential risks to achieving project schedule completion.
  • Review contractor project schedules and integrate them into a comprehensive overall project schedule.
  • Responsible for working with the project teams and EPC Contractors to progress, analyze and provide accurate schedule performance reports during all phases of assigned projects.
  • Provide input to and collaborate with other members of the INVISTA Global Project Controls group to develop concise, accurate reporting for projects and site project portfolios.
  • Ensures that Project Control Standards and associated best practices and tools are utilized.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Project Scheduler for Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases of small to mid-sized site-based projects within the petrochemical or refining industries.
  • 3+ years of CPM (critical path method) scheduling and resource loading required
  • Experience with Primavera, and /or Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or other “web” based scheduling tools is a bonus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools including Excel, Power Point, Teams, & SharePoint
