Georgia Pacific is seeking a Logistics Clerk for the Georgia Pacific facility in Port Hudson, LA.

Job Summary
Position Overview: The Logistics Clerk will be an integral part of the Logistics Department, focusing on the receiving process for incoming stock and materials. This role ensures the accuracy and completeness of shipments and maintains inventory records. The Logistics Clerk will also manage warehouse inventory and communicate with service groups such as KBX, vendors, spotting service, and GP Corporate groups to meet both internal and external customer needs. This position reports directly to the Logistics Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
· Report any discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
· Assist in managing inventory counts of vitals, work in process, and finished goods.
· Maintain open communication with service groups (KBX, spotting, vendors, Customer Service, Planners, Allocators, Quality) to ensure customer needs are met.
· Conduct root cause analysis for material flow or system issues.
· Demonstrate proficiency in multiple system applications, including EWM, iCPAQS, E80, and S4.

Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or higher and prior logistics or military experience.
· Experience with SAP.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
Preferred Qualifications:
· 2 or more years of experience in a logistics role.
· Experience using iCPAQS, MS Office, and SharePoint.
· Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong organizational and administrative skills.
