A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Operate and troubleshoot equipment utilized during daily manufacturing
  • Prepare final products for shipping and distribution
  • Understand and execute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues, report/escalate unresolved issues immediately
  • Participate in setting team goals and managing job assignments
  • Drive and meet quality standards
  • Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean work environment
  • Perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, and high-volume environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year experience in related work environment with appropriate safety training and labor-based work history
  • Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English language (to understand work instructions and to provide additional information during production)
  • Basic math skills (i.e., ability to do simple counting operations)
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to oral and/or written instructions provided by the Production Supervisor
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently with little direction.
  • Ability to climb, push/pull 60 lbs. or more at a time, and move distances within or between manufacturing equipment and machinery
  • Ability to work in an enclosed environment with loud noise, moving objects, fumes/odors, dust and debris, and hazardous materials
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment (packing suit, gloves, hard hat, steel toed/metatarsal boots, safety glasses and/or ear protection as required by task)
  • Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years or more of manufacturing or production experience
  • Experience operating mobile equipment, e.g.; forklifts, bobcats, cranes
