Job Description
Production Associate Full-Time Temporary-to-Hire Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Rotating 12 Hour Shifts, Days & Nights Required
- Work 4 days on night shift
- 3 days off
- Work 3 days on day shift
- 1 day off
- Work 3 days on night shift
- 3 days off
- Work 4 days on day shift
- 7 days off

The Production Associate will learn and perform job tasks within the various departments and will add value to the facility by assisting operators with assigned duties. This work will provide the individual with the proper skill set, knowledge and training needed to advance within the company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist or operate machinery to expected performance levels
· Assist crew members in a team environment
· Communicate effectively and respectfully with other team members
· Learn new tasks (including functions in control cab, control room, and ground support) and become proficient in performing these tasks
· Operate Control Room panels, displays and graphics to maintain operations according to parameters
· Maintain safe and clean working environment, using variety of equipment
· Adhere to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
· Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, noisy, and dusty industrial environment.
- Willing and able work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Willing and able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to routinely lift up to 15lbs and occasionally lift or move 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willing and able to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, 6” top leather steel toe boots, etc.).
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess at least 6 months manufacturing experience or have done comparable work in a comparable work environment that includes but is not limited to: farming, agriculture, landscaping, carpentry, mechanical, construction.
- Experience using a computer for basic record-keeping and documentation functions.
- High school diploma or GED
