Encadria is assisting Guardian Glass in Carleton, MI with their need for Production Operators. The role starts as a temporary position with the potential to be hired into Guardian® Glass. This is a great company to work with and a great starting pay rate, working nights on a 2-2-3 shift, every other weekend off!
What You Will Do in Your Role as a Production Operator
· Operate and troubleshoot equipment utilized during daily manufacturing.
· Prepare final products for shipping and distribution
· Understand and execute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues, report/escalate unresolved issues immediately
· Participate in setting team goals and managing job assignments
· Drive and meet quality standards
· Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean work environment
The Experience You Will Bring
· Willing and able to work overtime as needed
· Willing and able to work in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy, and high-volume environment
· Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day
· Willing and able to maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
· Basic Computer Skills
What Will Put You Ahead
· Six months of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
· High school diploma or GED
