Encadria Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified professional for a temporary Technical Writer assignment at Georgia Pacific to support the Leominster, Massachusetts Dixie Cutlery Operations plant.

This is a temporary position estimated to last for 2 months.

If you have a passion around working with learning content creation and management systems, Georgia-Pacific’s Dixie-Lexington Manufacturing facility is looking for a Technical Writer to help advance our team's capabilities. This role will provide detailed learning content throughout the Dixie Lexington facility working directly with the operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. Create real value for the organization by researching and interpreting data.

We are looking for an individual who possesses a business owner and love for the community mindset with strengths in managing both technical and soft-skill development programs.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes:

• Working with Manufacturing Engineers, Technicians, Electricians and Subject Matter Experts to optimize and develop asset-specific operational documents.
• Using photographs, drawings, diagrams, and charts to increase end users’ understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
• Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation in accordance with RIM standards.
• Help standardize content across the organization while gathering usable feedback from technical staff to revise documents to create value.

What do you need? Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years’ experience writing, editing, reviewing technical documentations.
• 2+ years’ experience writing, editing, reviewing technical publications with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Adobe Acrobat to create content.
• Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter.
• Willing and able to work in manufacturing.
• Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting to 15lbs., walking and standing, for at least 8 hours a day.
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to SQF standards and regulations, including wearing required Personal protective clothing.

This is a temporary position estimated to last for 2 months.

Job Type: Temporary Full-time

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday—Friday with occasional nights and weekends required.
