Encadria Staffing Solutions is currently hiring at Molex for Tower Operators in Phoenix, AZ.
Molex drives innovation in electronics, supporting industries from Automotive to Healthcare and Consumer to Data Communications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Must be familiar with all Draw Tower equipment part names, & terminology.
- Works on completing requirements for Training Checklists.
- Cleans and fire polish standard tubing products with supervision.
- Efficiently monitors standard tubing draws:
- Accurately uses microscope to verify product dimensions.
- Change reels as needed.
- Recognizes process and equipment problems, brings to attention of supervisor. Assists co-workers/supervisors as needed.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Checks schedule board on a daily basis. Gathers all information of tower operations from previous shift operator.
- Other duties:
- Basic support and maintenance as required, i.e., changes gas cylinders, empty & replace trash barrels, cleaning of coating bucket parts, start-up and shut-down check list
- Ensures that the area, applicators, and buckets are ready for the next shift
- Accurate completion of data entry and paperwork related to the manufacturing area.
- Understand, support and contribute to current Polymicro/Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 – 2 years experience in a mechanical or manufacturing position, Military or related field.
- Ability to use calculator to determine wall thickness, nominal diameters and related production calculations with supervision.
- Must establish quality work habits to produce high production yields.
- Must be able to follow written procedures and recognize when to notify supervisor when equipment problems occur.
- Ability to perform in a continuous manufacturing environment.
- Complete paperwork accurately and legibly and perform data entry accurately.

- Must be able to perform in a continuous manufacturing environment
- Must be able to communicate with co-workers and supervisor.
- Must have flexibility to rotate shifts every 6 months or as needed.
- Must have ability to work safely with a variety of manufacturing processes along with chemicals and materials.
- Must be able to work from lifts up to 40 feet in height above ground level.
- Lifts up to 40 lbs.
- Manual dexterity in working with small parts.
- Microsoft Office, Word & Excel
Shift and Pay: 1st shift 7 am – 3:30 pm ($16/hr), 2nd shift 3pm-11pm (17.75/hr)
